Paul is a native of Kentucky and has lived in Montana for over 25 years. He attended medical school at the University of Kentucky, completed his residency in anesthesiology at Wake Forest University and followed this with a fellowship in cardiovascular anesthesiology at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. In addition to his practice as an anesthesiologist, Paul has also practiced in both the emergency room and intensive care settings. Finally, his experience includes the establishment of cardiovascular anesthesia services at two hospitals and the opening of a free-standing surgical center. He comes to us out of retirement with a strong interest in education and service. His areas of interests include hiking, fishing, and wood working.
