Teresia is an AEMT and trainer with 25 years’ experience in rural Montana. She has worked as an EMS provider and trainer, and has also worked as an EMS service manager, a Certified Hospital Emergency Coordinator (CHEC) and Hospital Trauma Coordinator.
Teresia is an active AHA BLS instructor and Montana Lead EMS Instructor, teaching EMT classes every year. She is still actively teaching with the local EMS and hospital as well as helping in the emergency department with trauma patients. Teresia believes that keeping up with the latest information on best practices is the best way to improve our patient care and overall the patient outcomes.
Having a love for rural Montana and believing that people in rural areas deserve great emergency care, is what has kept her going for 25 years. She is always working to learn more and bringing that knowledge to EMS and hospital providers.
