Growing up in the desert city of Henderson, NV, Maddie enjoyed everything outdoors, away from the city noise and traffic jams. She spent much of her childhood with her horses and hunting trips with her dad to northern Nevada. After two years of playing college softball in Northern California, she moved back to Nevada and obtained a degree in Public Administration. It didn't take long after that for her to pack her bags and leave the city lights. Montana has been her home now since early 2016, the first two years of which were spent in Kalispell where she earned her EMT-B and worked for Evergreen Fire Rescue, as well as Bigfork Fire Department. Besides finding her passion in fire and medicine here in Montana, she also met her husband, Nicholas, who obtained a career with Central Valley Fire Department last year and is what brought them to the Bozeman area.
Maddie has always had a passion for helping other's, and she is very excited to be helping students achieve their goals in emergency medicine, with high hopes they will utilize their knowledge in the community one day. In her free-time, Maddie enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog-child, a golden retriever, named Kali.
