Eric Lowe, MD

Medical Director

Eric is an emergency medicine physician practicing in Bozeman, Montana with a strong interest in prehospital medicine. He is the medical director for EMS services in Gallatin County, MT, with responsibility for first response agencies, air and ground transport services, as well as local ski patrols and backcountry search and rescue.

He completed medical school at the University of Connecticut, graduating in 2005. He completed residency at Maine Medical Center in Portland Maine, with one year as chief resident, graduating in 2008. He is board certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. Eric has been immersed in prehospital medicine since his time as a ski patroller in college and as an EMT on an urban ground ambulance in between college and medical school. This passion for the pre-hospital community is evident in his role as medical director. He is often found in the field working alongside paramedic, nurse and EMT’s on ambulances and in helicopters.
