Elizabeth Parker

Dean of Experiential Education | MSN, CEN, CFRN, CHSE

Liz is a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE).

Liz has been in prehospital care since 1994 when she began her career in a volunteer EMS service in Garden City Missouri. She then went to work full time for a paid EMS/Fire service where she worked for 7 years and then decided to pursue a nursing career. She graduated from Nursing school in 2001 and started to work in a Neuro/Trauma ICU, always knowing her goal was to do prehospital work in the air transport industry.

In 2004 she started flying as a critical care flight nurse. This was her passion and she began teaching outreach shortly after she started to fly. In 2009 Liz started as a flight nurse with Life Flight Eagle a not for profit air medical transport service. She worked there for 13 years as a flight nurse, educator and eventually would move into a full time Education Manager for the flight program. She also obtained her Masters in Nursing education while employed there. Liz is passionate about helping others learn and train to take the best care possible of the lives that they touch.

In her spare time Liz likes to spend time with her grandkids, do motorcycle and camping trips with her husband.
